Award Winning WRITER and POET:

Hunter Hamlyn is a screenwriter and filmmaker based out of Los Angeles and Vancouver, BC. She holds a degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley—a background in design that naturally shapes her visual approach to movies and television, from photography and 3D graphics to post-film editing. Her writing focuses on building deeply atmospheric, character-driven mystery and thriller stories.

Music and performance have always been at the center of her life and work. Like her late father, who played oboe in the Oakland Symphony, Hunter is an accomplished classical pianist and composer. She writes and arranges original music under her production banner, Romeo Knights, and has also worked internationally as a main-stage corporate spokesperson for Fortune 100 brands including Panasonic and Epson.

Hunter has a romantic heart. Her latest music video, I AM ROMEO, combines sultry cinematic pop vocals with scenes from ROMEO AND JULIET in addition to Hunter’s original writing and story—when Poseidon absconds with Juliet to the seventh sea and transforms her into a mermaid, Romeo must escape his own alternate reality chains to find and rescue his true love.

Hunter’s current project is THE MAGPIE PROPHECY, a fully finalized 8-episode limited television series complete with a locked pilot script and a comprehensive 38-page Series Master Bible.
